Tom's father started the firm repairing sash windows in the historic district. Today Tom and his sons run a crew of twelve carpenters and masons, and still mill replacement mouldings on the same machines.
Do you handle Historic Preservation Commission approvals?
Yes. We prepare drawings, photographs and material specifications for your application and attend the hearing with you.
Can my original windows really be saved?
Almost always. Old-growth heart pine outlasts any replacement. We repair the sash, reglaze with period glass where needed and add weatherstripping you won't see.
Do you work outside Annapolis?
We work across Anne Arundel, Talbot and Queen Anne's counties and in Washington, D.C.
